This article, we really need to think about this. India 2nd last among 73 countries. Of course it is a shame. The subjects such as maths and science, where whole world wants Indian scientists and mathematicians, what happens here? Our government blames Indians poor educational score on cultural disconnect or western shadows on tests. Then why China which is European country scored top in that test.
I personally think that we should ignore these international tests because students from Tamilnadu and Himachal Pradesh, mainly from rural area, are not able to answer questions of reasoning or reading comprehension involving ATMs and air bags inflating in cars.
But when we talk about or countries education system, we need an educational revolution at this stage. How can our government include “Munna bhai and circuits” chapter in school text books?? This thing will definitely lead us towards educational quality disaster. We have to make those students socially aware, teach them to think on their own, let them feel that they can THINK. Everyone bourn with their own mind, we should not forget this thing.
